What Is a "Full" Inspection?

Every used car on our website undergoes a rigorous 300-point inspection by our highly trained technicians. We check everything from small details like lights and wipers to major systems like the engine, brakes, sat nav, and cooling system.

We also recondition cars to meet high standards of quality. If a car doesn't pass inspection, we either fix the issue or don't list it for sale. You can rest assured that every car is in excellent working condition.

Can I Test Drive the Car?

We don't offer test drives, but with our 7-Day Money Back Guarantee, you'll have plenty of time to decide if the car is right for you. Once your car is delivered, you'll have 7 days to drive it, explore its features, and ensure it meets your expectations.

If you decide the car isn't for you, simply let us know within the 7-day window. We'll arrange to collect it and issue a full refund.

Important Notes:

  • Returns won't be accepted if the car has been modified, damaged, or involved in an accident.
  • A 250-mile limit applies; for every additional mile driven, there's a charge of £1 per mile.

How Can I See Any Imperfections on a Car Before Purchase?

Do Used Cars Come with Service History?

We check for service history whenever possible. While some cars come with complete records, others may have gaps or missing stamps. In such cases, it may still be possible to retrieve digital records from a dealership.

Additionally, some cars may not have been serviced yet if they're under a year old or haven't reached the recommended mileage.

What Documents Will I Receive with My Used Car?

Upon delivery, you'll receive:

Do You Sell Cars with Outstanding Finance?

No, we ensure that all cars we sell are free of outstanding finance.

Do You Carry Out a History Check on All Cars?

Yes, every car undergoes a full history check. This ensures:

  • No outstanding finance.
  • The car hasn't been imported, written off, scrapped, or had its number plates cloned.
  • Mileage records are accurate and verified.

What Is the Tyre Tread Depth on Your Cars?

All tyres have a tread depth of at least 3mm across 75% of the tyre width, exceeding the legal minimum of 1.6mm.

Has My Car Been Serviced?

If a service is due within 3 months, we'll take care of it before delivery. This includes oil and filter changes, as well as replacing the air and pollen filters for cars over a year old.

How Will I Know If My Car Has Been Serviced?

We reset your car's service indicator (if applicable) and stamp the service book or update the onboard service record. You'll also find a copy of the service sheet in your welcome pack.

Where Is My Car's Service Book?

You'll find the service book in the glove compartment.

How Will I Know When to Service My Car?

Check your car's handbook for the manufacturer's recommendations.

Where Can I Find My Car's Handbook?

Some cars have digital handbooks accessible through the display screen. If your car has a physical handbook, you'll find it in the glove compartment.

Is My Car's Battery Fully Charged?

Yes, every car undergoes a battery health check and is fully charged before delivery. If a new battery is needed, we'll fit one.

Can I Buy a Charger for My Electric Car?

Yes, you can purchase an at-home charging point through our partner Easee. Their installation partner will set it up in as little as two hours, and you can control your charger via an app.

Do You Check My Car's Brakes?

Yes, our technicians thoroughly inspect the braking system and road-test every car. If you hear a noise while driving, it may just be surface rust on the brake discs. This is normal and will disappear after driving a few miles.

Where Can I Find My Car's Locking Wheel Nuts?

The locking wheel nuts will be in the boot or glove compartment.

Will My Car's MOT Be Renewed?

If the car's MOT has less than 3 months remaining or has expired, we'll renew it before delivery

How Much Fuel Will Be in the Car When It's Delivered?

Each car is delivered with at least 10 litres of fuel or, for electric vehicles, at least 75% charge.

When Will My Car Be Delivered?

We deliver 7 days a week between 8 am and 8 pm. Choose a 2-hour delivery slot at checkout, and we'll bring your car straight to your door.

What Days of the Week Do You Deliver?

We deliver every day, including weekends and bank holidays, except Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Where Do You Deliver To?

We deliver to mainland Great Britain, the Scottish Islands, and Isle of Wight postcodes. Delivery is not available to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, or the Isles of Scilly. Some areas may have access limitations.

What Happens When My Car Is Delivered?

Our Handover Specialist will:

  • Show you around the car.
  • Answer any questions you might have.
  • Complete the paperwork and hand over the keys once everything's in order.

What Happens If I Don't Like My Car When It's Delivered?

If the car doesn't meet your expectations, contact us via email or phone before 8 pm on the 7th day following delivery. We'll arrange a convenient time to collect the car and issue a full refund.
